WITHIN THE MONASTERY, ALL THE MONKS ARE SAFE AND SOUND
Within the Triten Norbutse monastery, all the monks are safe and sound, no wound is to to regret.
As for the monastery’s infrastructure itself, several buildings cracked or were damaged. It is in particular about the old temple and about the new building.

The monks sleep and live outside, on the ground neighboring the complex and at the bottom of the monastery ..They are at present 40 young monks to live in these precarious conditions

The monks help the surrounding population which finds itself without anything, they clear ruins …
A FIRST AID AREA
The students of the school of medicine have set up, in the emergency, a zone of access to the first care, in order to help the victims of the earthquake. They already count 3500 visitors until this day…

The expected and necessary supports are important. It will be a question of watching the quality of the food and the access to the drinking water, as well as in the conditions of hygiene ; for the many monks as for those whom they help. It will be a question then of spreading the care in the surroundings and especially, of reconstruction or restauration of buildings..
